“Caring Friends” - a valuable partner of ‘Helpers’

“Caring Friends” (CF) has been a valuable partner of ‘Helpers’ since May 2007. ‘CF’ was conceptualized by Mr. Ramesh Kacholia, a successful businessman who has now given up his business activities to work full time for ‘CF’. He was soon joined by Mr. Nimesh Sumatilal Shah, another successful businessman who is wholeheartedly working for ‘CF’ along with Mr. Kacholia.

Mr. Kacholia and Mr. Nimesh Shah formed a loosely knit group of businessmen and professionals initially called ‘Mumbai Group of Friends’ (MGoF). Due to untiring efforts of the two gentlemen, it has now transformed into a formidable group of around 300 friends nationwide and worldwide. ‘CF’ has been helping around (40) not-for- profit organizations (NGOs) throughout the length and breadth of India with finance, capacity building, infrastructure building and in every other way possible. More information about ‘CF’ can be had on their website www.caringfriends.in

Since May 2007, Mr. Kacholia and Mr. Nimesh Shah and their family members have made substantial personal donations to ‘Helpers’.  ‘CF’ has provided financial and non-monetary support to ‘Helpers’ in the following ways:

·       Substantial financial support at the time of construction of ground floor of new building of ‘Samarth Vidya Mandir’, our integrated co-ed school at Kolhapur.

·       Substantial financial support for our ‘Swapna Nagari’ project at Sindhudurg.

·       Substantial financial support for running of our two hostels in Kolhapur and Sindhudurg.

·       Providing referrals and recommendations to individual donors and donor trusts.

·       Providing exposure to other sister organizations through meetings and workshops, thereby building a bond among group organization and broadening our vision.

Mr. Anand Karia and Mr. Parag Karia have established ‘Arpan Foundation’ in U.S.A. and are working as overseas associates of ‘CF’ for channelizing funds from NRIs residing in USA. ‘Helpers’ has received valuable financial support from Arpan Foundation too.

We are extremely grateful to Mr. Ramesh Kacholia, Mr. Nimesh Shah, Arpan Foundation  and all Caring Friends for their very valuable support to ‘Helpers’.
