- “National Award for Role Model 2001” by Ministry of Social Justice received at the hands of Vice President of India.
- FIE Foundation Award 1996 at the hands of Shri Manohar Joshi, Chief Minister.
- National Award 1986 at the hands of Shri H.L. Kapoor Governor of Delhi.
- “Outlook Speak Out Award 2005” at the hands of Smt. Sonia Gandhi.
- NCPEDP Shell Hellen Keller Award – Disabled Person who has worked for rehabilitation of disabled persons and are role mdoels.
- “National Award 2005” by FICCI at the hands of Dr. Manmohan Singh.
- “Savitribai Phule Award - 2006” by Govt. of Maharashtra for uplift of women.
